How we can help
Our team has a range of experience working with Participants who have complex support needs or circumstances, and are able to provide assistance to workers in the industry.
The ECSN program offers Secondary Consultation for people working with NDIS Participants who have complex support needs or circumstances. This service aims to provide additional support to those working in complex situations by offering guidance, contacts and resources that will improve outcomes for the Participant. We aim to engage all key stakeholders, identify gaps, and suggest pathways forward via a comprehensive report.
This is a FREE and confidential service available 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
To request or submit a referral form, please contact the ECSNP team on ECSNreferrals@richmondtas.com.au or contact one of the team directly.
Our team provides after hours support coordination to NDIS Participants who are experiencing crisis with their disability related supports. Crisis may occur when there is a sudden change in their supports that is unforeseen, unexpected, or unavoidable, and results in these supports becoming ineffective, inadequate, or absent. Our role is to coordinate appropriate supports after hours for the Participant and connect directly with the NDIS during work hours.
The Crisis Referral Line operates between the hours of 5pm-9am Monday to Friday, and 24 hours a day Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays. It is available to approved referrers only. Our approved referrers are:
- Tasmanian Health Services
- Ambulance Tasmania
- Tasmanian Police
- Public Guardian
- Department of Justice
- Department of Communities
- Please contact us if you work with an approved referrer and would like more information about the Crisis Referral Line.
